PromptMate is a Chrome extension that adds a prompt library panel to claude.ai. This policy explains how the extension handles your data.

Data Collection

PromptMate does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

Data Storage

All prompts and settings you create are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser and is only accessible to you.

Permissions

PromptMate requests the following permissions:

• storage — to save your prompts and settings locally on your device.
• Access to claude.ai — to inject the prompt library button into the Claude.ai interface. The extension does not read, modify, or transmit any content from your Claude conversations.

Third Parties

PromptMate does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools. No data is shared with any third party.

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
